Q: How much do you charge for your services
A: Each service varies. Basically I place my fee based on what’s required to complete the project. This includes additional items I may need to purchase and or research to acquire the desired look and feel of the finished product. Also I rarely turn down a project which puts me in a position to negotiate fees. Please contact me with your: Project needs Timeline Quantity (if print services are needed) And ready material (what you have on hand to provide) This will put me in a better position to properly give you fee that’s good for both sides.
Q: What are the conditions in which you work?
A: From past experience, I have found this to be a very crucial topic. If you are providing me with text, images and or logos, YOU MUST SPECIFY if I am allowed to make additional changes to your text, color correct your images etc etc. I will not be held responsible if you provide me with text that has grammatical errors if you request no changes are made. If you specify text /graphics/ must be handled AS IS…it will be dealt with in that manner. I use my email system for archiving and the recording of our discussions as well as materials transferred.
Q: What if I want to retain rights to your finished product?
A: As with any business, ownership of materials is very beneficial. Contracts can be provided if you seek to retain full ownership of finished logos, publication, and photos. Of course this may require an additional fee seeing that you are requesting me to relieve myself from all claims to the service I provide. But keep in mind this is an option. Publication rights etc can be discussed and contracts drawn up if needed.
Q: What’s your turnaround time? A: This varies on my current workload prior to accepting your project. If you have all your materials ready, I can provide a faster turnaround for your project. Rush projects (4 day turnaround) can be provided but there may be a surcharge to my final fee. Q: Do you allow any type of price cuts or incentives?
A: Yes I do. If you allow me to brand my company on your publication (print/photography) I will add a discount to my fee. As with any business, relationships are crucial. The more you work with me and refer new clients, the more deals I will off to you as my client as my way of saying thanks.
